This is so hysterical. One copy of Butt Magazine caused everyone to go all up in arms. This all goes back to how American culture is completely self-contradicting. One moment cultural images are promoting sexuality and the next they are attempting to stifle sexuality. And somehow, one copy of Butt Magazine (I think it's actually called The Best of Butt Magazine, which actually makes it just a tribute copy, WHICH IS NOTHING!)
doesn't seem as bad as if they were carrying regular issues of a porn magazine that's still in print. And it was GAY PORN. Gay porn is nothing compared to some of the over-masculated(not a word) womanizing shit that's out there in the world. I bet if she ever saw a real porn magazine she would die of cardiac arrest and be joining MJ(too soon?).
I also watched a video of an interview with one of the District Managers of American Apparel. I couldn't stop laughing. Here watch:
He keeps saying "It gives a really sexy image." He should just go back home and renew his high. Just listening to his voice. He probably has no clue what vintage is.
